My current favorite IDE of choice for JavaScript is without a doubt Visual Studio Code. However, most any text editor will do. We can download Visual Studio Code Here

NodeJS

Since we are learning JavaScript, We also need to install NodeJs. When downloading, install the "Recommended For Most Users" Download nodeJS here

Github

For source code management, were going to use Github. We will need to create and account and also have git installed on our machines. First, set up a github account here Once that is complete, go here to download git for windows/mac
